4-H EDGE
Program
4-H EDGE: Connecting Kids to Campus, May 17 & 18, 2008. EDGE is an
annual program for 4-H youth ages 11-18
on the University of Maine campus.
Citizenship
Washington Focus
Citizenship Washington Focus
(CWF) is a 4-H leadership program for high school youth, ages 15-19,
from across the country.
Eastern States
Exposition (ESE or The Big E)
Eastern States Exposition is New
England's largest fair. Members between the ages of 12-18 are
eligible to participate in the Beef, Beef Heifers, Dairy Cattle,
Dairy Goats, Dog, Horse, and Sheep shows.
Fairs
Fairs provide opportunities
for 4-Hers to exhibit the best of their project work from the past
year and see how their skills have grown.
Interstate &
Intrastate Exchanges
Interstate and Intrastate 4-H
Teen Exchanges allow clubs or individuals to visit other 4-H groups
within the country and then host that 4-H group in return.
Maine 4-H Days
Maine 4-H Day is an annual event
sponsored by the Pine Tree State 4-H Foundation, with animal and
enrichment tracks for all age groups.
Maine Teen Conference
Teen conference is an
educational, learn-by-doing process from start to finish.
National 4-H
Conference
National 4-H Conference is an
opportunity for youth, adult volunteer leaders and Extension staff
to work together at the National 4-H Center in Chevy Chase, MD.
National 4-H
Congress
National 4-H Congress is
designed to help young people develop the knowledge base and
leadership skills to positively affect change in our world, held
annually in Atlanta, GA.
