Bushcraft Camp

Bushcraft gives campers a chance to practice the skills of the traditional Maine Guide along with primitive woods-wisdom, skills, and craftmaking. Spending the first week at our Pine Brook Campsite, campers will enter a world where time has slowed to match the rhythms of sun and stars, and the habits of the deer, moose, and other wildlife that call Pine Brook home. Designed as a crossover between the Woodscraft Path and the Primitive Skills Path, activities in this program will include hand-making a pack-basket or canoe paddle, advanced animal track and sign identification, fire-building and campfire cooking techniques, survival and outdoor living skills, and much more.

The second week of the program will be a 1 week traditional canoe trip on the St. Croix River, where campers will put their new skills into practice.
