Turn Beauty Inside Out
Community Awareness and Action Kits
The Community Awareness
and Action Kit is a toolbox of educational resources
and materials for volunteers, teachers, parents, and
young people to use to create a celebration of true
beauty as “good hearts, great works, and activism.”
Kits cost $30 each.
The Turn Beauty Inside Out Awareness and
Action Kit includes:
- Informational handouts on
Turn Beauty Inside Out
and media literacy activities, our after school curriculum,
and community strategies for Turn Beauty Inside Out Month and year
round.
- Educational materials and
resources on healthy body image, supporting leadership,
and building allies among girls.
- Our film “Real
Girls…turning beauty inside out” (DVD) featuring Libby Roderick’s song “How
Could Anyone” and real Maine girls defining for themselves what it means to
be female today. This inspirational film (5 minutes) captures the hearts and
spirits of girls being who they are, doing what they love to do,
and making a difference in their communities.
