The University of Maine Cooperative Extension Potato Program team provides information on potato and rotation crop production. We publish SPUDLINES three times per year during winter and Pest Alert weekly during the summer. Regional pest information is gathered through an extensive integrated pest management (IPM) program. A Pest Management Hotline has the latest details on the growing season. To find out more, visit the Potato Program Web site.

Statewide program support for commercial potato production is provided by staff in the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Aroostook County Office, Presque Isle. For information on noncommercial potato production, see vegetables. The UMaine Extension Aroostook County Office, Presque Isle, is located on the Aroostook Farm Agricultural Research Station on U.S. Route 1 in Presque Isle.
