Reducing Pesticides 

Pesticide and fertilizer use in Maine may effect your water quality. Pesticides and fertilizers can leach from where they are applied into the groundwater, which may end up in your well. Pesticides have been rated on their ability to leach. Go to publications to read more about leaching, as well as how and when you should apply pesticides. You will also find information to help you determine if you are adding too much expensive pesticides and fertilizers.
